Amazing food & service. At first we were sat at a table that was far too small and the AM was quick to make changes per our request! Our waiter was incredibly speedy and kind while making honest recommendations. Side note the “sides” are HUGE! Definitely recommend sharing like we did and you’ll still have some left over to take home! Will absolutely be back.
I suffer racism
I went to this restaurant for dinner on Wednesday, September 30, and unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience. We had a reservation for 7:45 PM and were seated at 7:50 PM, which was not the issue.
The problem was that no server approached our table for over 45 or 50 minutes to take our order.
At around 8:15 PM, we asked a server if they could send our waiter to our table. He said he would look into it, but no one ever came.
About 10 minutes later, I asked another server if he could help us since we had already been waiting for over 30 minutes. He told me to give him a few minutes because he needed to deliver a bottle of wine to the table next to us. However, he never came back to assist us either.
Honestly, I don’t know if we were treated this way because of racism, as my husband and I are Latinos. Meanwhile, the table next to us had a group of around 10 Americans, and four or five different servers approached their table, while we couldn’t even get one person to take our order.
Very disappointing experience. We expected much better service, especially after making a reservation. No customer should have to wait that long just to be acknowledged.
